As an experienced web developer, I bought it specifically to learn how to design, implement, and ultimately use the Content Management features of SharePoint .This book offered very little in that regard. All the examples required the use of SharePoint designer when most (if not all) C# developers are going to want to use Visual Studio. In the end, there was very little C# and lots of overview.
