BCOM 2 (with Review Cards and Printed Access Card) ReviewAs far as textbooks go, there is nothing particularly special about this one. Communications is a terribly boring subject, but Business Communications takes it to another level. This book does nothing to alleviate it but it tries: splashing graphics up with provocative poses and faces as much as possible.
So not bad, but not exceptional up to here.
However, when I went to access the online materials, the access code didn't work. When I contacted Cengage's technical support, they could do nothing and really did nothing to help explain the situation. They asked me to send the order information to them and they'd get back to me "within 48 hours". This left me speechless, what kind of company needs 48 hours to review an order sheet? Anyway, I was unable to complete the homework due that day due to the program. Lesson learned, attempt to login prior to the date you actually need something from the site.

Maybe that was the situation when Ohi wrote the book, I don't know. Also, most of the book was "filler" rather than the markets themselves. I have written a lot for the Web, and a large number of the well paying markets were not mentioned in her book either. In fact, I would say that the overwhelming majority of the sites listed in her book are the very low paying ones.
