White Characters, Transparent for Dark Color Keyboards ReviewCare should be exercised when handling adhesive matter, it is advisable to use tweezers since fingers tips can be greasy and finger prints could be left on sticker; just as you would be careful when using crazy glue, thus, preventing your fingers from sticking together :-)
To remove or make removal easier, please, apply slight heat using a hair dryer for a couple of seconds, on the key, then remove the label. Alcohol is good to use before applying the stickers, even after removal, wiping with an alcohol swab would keep the keys clean and free of remnant matter without affecting the original print. Even though this keyboard doesn't have the little flip-out feet to elevate it, it's still a good keyboard considering that I could only find one company that makes a backlit English-Russian keyboard. The backlighting is definitely bright enough, and is a light turquoise color that's easy on the eyes. It took a little getting used to training my eyes to focus on the Russian (cyrllic) letters and not the English letters. Russian, Cyrillic Keyboard Overlays Stickers, Labels. White Characters, Reverse Print, Transparent for Dark Color Keyboards ReviewThese are great. They don't cover up the normal letters. They are easy to put on. If you put them on wrong, you can take them off and put them on right. They are great for black keyboards, like on laptops.
There is a little bit of reflectiveness, so that when you're working in bad light, it's a little hard to see if you're about to hit the correct key if you're looking for the real letter originally printed on the keyboard, but normally shouldn't be a problem.
If you leave them on for a long time, and then take them off, there will be a little adhesive that you'll have to get off the keys, which could prove to be a pain. My advice is once you've put them on, just don't take them off.
The feel of the keys is about the same as before, as long as there is no overlap over the keys when you put them on--the stickers are small enough that they fit if you put them on right.

Russian Laminated Transparent Keyboard Stickers for All PC & Laptops with Yellow Lettering ReviewThese are So wonderful! I had looked at several others and was not thrilled about the direction to apply them to the keyboard. These where a snap! I did use and recommend the use of tweezers.
These just stick to the keyboard and are shaped like the top or the keys. I had to lift one or two to get squared up with the key and there is no difference in the look.
The yellow shows up well on a black keyboard. I would recommend a different color for a light colored keyboard.
I use "Russian standard" when not typing in English and they fit just as they are supposed to.
If you need a multi language keyboard this makes getting that a lot easier. I did see that most other types have a high shipping rate (like up to $9.99!!!), so I would look around a little. The seller I bought from here on Amazon had free shipping. This made it right around $4.00 for me.

The sleep buttons also work to put the computer to sleep. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was that there was a mixup and I was sent an Arabic keyboard instead of Cyrilic. However, the supplier was great and moved very fast to fix the problem.
