Netgear DGN2200 Refurbished Wireless-N N300 Router with Built-In DSL Modem (DGN2200-100NAR) ReviewI was sold this unit a local retailer as my ATT gateway broke. Had to call the help line to get the thing set up. Helpline very helpful and I was up and running in ... days. Apparently, you have to reset every wireless device you have in the house even though you keep your same wireless codes. But the unit worked absolutely great for a few weeks. Then we noticed it getting hot. To hot to hold in your hand. Once that happens, the network performance drops like a rock. I ran network tests and it showed the network access dropping from 5.0Mb to 0.5Mb. The only way to fix it temporarily is to unplug it and let it cool. After an hour, the problem is back. I checked the forums and the problems I experienced are very similar to the DGN2000 posted on Netgears forums.
