I just use it to save my videos and music on a 750 internal HD. Have never froze up on me, can stop it and come back push play and it starts where it left off. The remote works very well with the Media player. This is a well made device and with 153 movies on it and 20gbs of music I still have 60-70gb left. I'm gone to have to buy myself a 2TB HD soon.
